Caramel layout At mealtimes in a large family, it’s all hands to the stove – I peeled, stirred, fried and baked from an early age, and after too many rubbery spanish omelettes, I went to catering college to learn the professional way, I also learnt how to run a 5 star hotel, a skill that I have yet to put into practice. My food education was refined in Switzerland, Tuscany and France, shooting the most beautiful food in places that you only see in magazines. I am a professional food stylist, based in London – which must be the best city in the world for food, we have a huge variety of cuisines, and a creative attitude to food. I love eating out, and often write about my experiences for various reviews.

I am a mother and take an active interest in children’s food – school dinners, junk food labelling, kids food and teenagers food.
